The Punks, The Fascists, and The Stupid

A little bit ago, I wrote up another blog post called Nazi Punks (Fuck off). This post was made mostly due to the claims that I had been seeing floated around on the internet. Claims such as "Punk isn't political" or "Nazi Punks exist". Since then, I have seen the claim "Punks for Trump exist" be used to try to mean something. First of all, this claim is stupid. There is no logic or valid reason behind it. Anti-authoritarianism is apart of the Punk Ethos. You can't really be Punk while rooting for the bastards actively taking away our human rights, deciding that they know better then medical professionals + scientists, and are actively kidnapping our fellow citizens.

The second part of irony about this is that if Punk was to be labled as a political party, it would most resemble Anarchism which sounds scary but in reality it's nothing like the chaos that a large portion of the USA would have you believe that it is. You can't be for a Fascist while claiming to be Punk unless you want a fist to the face. Not trying to be edgy with that last part, just trying to be historically accurate. These so called "Punks" try to dress to look the part but what even is the part? I talked about this a little bit in the other blog post, I don't care what you wear but getting caught up on an aesthetic and making it a issue for the community is where a line gets drawn. A lot of these "Punks for Trump" are the definition of style over substance, we already established that you can't be Punk and for Trump so they are attempting to replicate a aesthetic that has been uncommon for awhile and change it's meaning just like what happened with skinheads.

To summarize, anyone claiming to be for a fascist while also claiming to be punk is what we like to call a poser at best, and a nazi punk at worst. Either way, show them Dead Kennedys and watch them melt into a puddle of despair.

Note:

Jello Biafra stealing royalties from his band was really shitty of him, don't do that kind of thing to people.
