Bug Blog #6

Went out to a nature park with my fiance and family, right at the entrance I found this itty bitty lil fella.

It is even smaller then the bug in the last bug blog. What makes it even more cool is that this bug isn't even a bug at all, it's a jumping spider! If you remember the last spider blog post, you probably remember me praising jumping spiders for being smart and cute unlike most spiders which most people agree to be a bit creepy at times. These guys move fast and hunt prey without the use of a spider web which leads me to my next pictures.

It had found food by the time we came back from our walk! It didn't even seem to have to move all to much to get it either! The bug it has in these pictures has wings so it likely landed on the same metal pole or flew above before becoming dinner.

Help identify it!

I know it's apart of the Salticidae family but I can't figure out which species it is. If you think you know what it is, feel free to leave a comment on my neocities profile.
