Cheddar Bacon Ranch Dip
with Green Onions

/gremlin/archives/cooking/cbr-dip/

Ingredients

10 Green Onions Chopped
2 Cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese
1 Cup of Bacon Bits
(You can buy a bag in store or make them yourself)
1 Cup Sour Cream
1 1/2 Cups Mayonnaise
1 Packet of Ranch Mix
1/2 16 ounce Bottle Ranch Dressing
(The ranch dressing needs to not be thin)

Instructions

1. In a medium sized mixing bowl add sour cream, mayo, and the ranch packet. Stir until well mixed.

2. Add green onions, grated cheddar, and bacon. Stir until well mixed.

3. Add bottled ranch dressing and mix until it reaches your desired consistency. I personally use half a 16 ounce bottle of generic ranch dressing.

4. The dip is technically ready at this point if you want crisp green onions. Letting the dip sit in the fridge for a day first allows for the flavors to properly marinate together. I prefer to allow it to sit.

Notes:

I made this dip for a family gathering and everyone loved it, can't recommend it enough. It's good with chips, crackers, burgers, and more. Feel free to get creative with it!
