Full Color Decals

Conscientious Objector Guide

Requirements:
A photo editor
A image
A decal tool
(You can buy one for cheap on the community market)

Step 1

Create a 128x128 pixel image in a photo editor, add and resize the image that you would like to use then export the image as 'paper_overlay.png'

Step 2

Find your tf2 install location and follow/make the following folders in this order

tf\custom\userstuff\scripts\items\custom_textures_blend_layers
(This font does not have lowercase letters, none of these are supposed to be uppercase)

Step 3

Copy the image that you made earlier into custom_textures_blend_layers

Step 4

Launch tf2, find and use your decal tool, select "use image from your computer", then select the image placed in the custom_textures_blend_layers folder. If the displayed image is not in color then you messed up somewhere along the way and should repeat the steps above. If everything checks out, press next twice.

Thats it!

Now you should have a Conscientious Objector with a full color decal!

Flair! Guide

Requirements:
A photo editor
Four pictures
A decal tool

Step 1

Create a 128x128 pixel image in a photo editor, add and resize the images that you would like to use then export the image as 'flair_template_guide.png'

Step 2

Step 3

Copy the image that you made earlier into custom_textures_blend_layers

Step 4

Thats it!

Now you should have a Flair! with a full color decals!
