I started playing this game because of two reason. Tina gave me her spare 2DS awhile ago (I love you Tina <3) and I remembered watching a youtuber playing it when I was in high school. He seemed like he was having fun so I went ahead and gave it a try. I was not ready for what was about to take place.
To start things off, I scanned a bunch of mii qr codes from www.miicharacters.com and started putting them into apartments.
I added my own mii, Waluigi, Marshal from the Rythem Heaven series, Steve Harvey, Garfield, Dr. Mario, Andre 3000, Mettaton EX, Mr. Bean, Solid Snake, "Weird Al" Yankovic, and Jessie Pinkman.
They all had problems that needed solving so I happily went about doing tasks for them. They then wanted to socialize with each other which seemed innocent enough at the time. Neco Arc and Marshal of the Rythem Heaven series kicked it off right away. So did my mii and Waluigi. Eventually Waluigi asked how compatible I thought he was with my mii. Me and Tina both thought he was trying to get with my mii and given the whole sequence where it mentioned my potential baby and the start, we both decided to tell him to not worry about it too much and didn't think any more of it until later. After a few hours of doing more tasks for the islanders and unlocking parts of the island, Steve Harvey mentioned that he wanted to ask my mii out. I told him yes but I had set him up to fail by telling him to use a really shitty pickup line "wanna fukk" (the game does not allow for innapropriate language so I got creative bypassing the system).
What I did not expect was for Waluigi to show up at the beach where Steve and my mii met up. After Steve dropped the pickup line, Waluigi stared them down and made a mad dash over to the two at which point he admited his feelings to my mii. My mii was left between the choice of Steve or Waluigi. After a moment of dramatic camera cuts between the islanders, my mii decided that she loved Waluigi! At this point I was laughing my ass off but was also gripped by the drama unfolding on my island. Steve went on to recluse in his aparment while in a despressive funk. I had to help him get out of the funk while the two lovebirds were off doing romantical shit.
Despite the earlier moment where me and Tina wanted to shoo away Waluigi from my mii, these two are cute together.
How could you look at those two and say no?
So I didn't, I gave them my blessing and that was that. Steve was sad but idk what Steve was even doing trying to ask out someone he had only talked to once before. Think with your head, not your dick. My mii and Waluigi were friends for hours and hung out many times before Steve had even moved in. Luckily once I got Steve out of his funk, he was still on friendly terms with the two of them. I even spotted Steve and my mii hanging out.
He was even feeling well enough to throw a jab at me
I sent the two lovebirds on a gettaway, for some reason they chose to go to Cambodia
At some point Dr. Mario gave me a spray can that turns people into kids so I used it on him for giving out that kind of shit willy nilly. He seemed to enjoy it tho. Played on slides, jumped in puddles, and made a fort out of his couch.
A little while later, there was rap battles at the island's fountain. Kid Dr. Mario lost to Mr. Bean. Mettaton EX went against Jessie Pinkman and lost. Ignore Andre 3000's rain coat, he didn't like it so I took it off soon after the rap battles. Jessie looks funny too because he wanted his hair dyed and I couldn't find his old hair color.
After the rap battles finished, Weird Al was seen at top of the tower. A few minutes later, he was found dead at the park. I suspect foul play because he was very social and happy, not at all depressed. Mettaton is the current suspect, he didn't take his loss in the rap battle well. He must have figured out Jessie was taught by Al. I can't prove anything but the cameras at the tower were down at the time of death and Al had a weird look in his eyes when I was there.
Neco Arc and Marshal had a falling out at some point in the day but I spotted them hanging out at the beach, both seemed to be in high spirits so I'm pretty sure they have patched up whatever happened.

Steve has the memory of a gold fish. He asked me again if he should ask out my mii, like did you just forget what happened last time??? You got rejected. She picked Waluigi over you. You were there for the whole thing holy shit. I'm not getting your sorry ass out of the depressive funk this time. Sit and sulk in your apartment all you want.
